3. Практиковать учащихся в аудировании.
4. Проконтролировать уровень развития речевых умений.
Учебные пособия: рисунки детей на тему “Защита окружающей среды” в виде выставки.
Ход урока:
Teacher: Lets today we discuss environment problems. What are these problems?
Pupils: Называют проблемы окружающей среды.
1.The first problem is pollution nature, air, water, land. Land, air, water are important for plants, animals, birds, fish and people.
2. It is rubbish problem. Every day we take rubbish out.
3. It is killing forests and animals.
4. It is the nuclear power and the greenhouse effect.
Teacher: It’s easy for us to see what we are doing to the air we breathe, water we drink, garbage we throw out! What about the habitat we don’t see? E.g. rainforests, deserts, grasslands, oceans, etc.?
Pupil: Human have been living on our planet for two million years, and in the last two hundred years humans have mode a mess of the planet: chopped trees, killed animals, polluted air, land, water.
Pupil: It is difficult to understand, but every thing on the planet is interconnected and when something goes wrong in some part of the world.
Pupil: The Earth has been getting hotter because we are producing too many greenhouse gases. Trees and plants help to take this gases from the atmosphere, but we have destroyed too many trees now.
Pupil: In our region we haven’t big plans and factories, air is polluted by cars and water and land are polluted by chemical manure.
Teacher: What advice do you give of how to help nature?
Pupil: I think there are a lot of ways can help to save the Earth. One way is recycle litter.
Pupil: I am very worried that trees are cut down, because if there are no trees our health is damaged. Forests must are protected.
Pupil: I want to be the kid who saves the Earth! Last summer I and my friends made a pond to help frogs.
Pupil: I’ve even asked my dad to help me make a protecting area for birds and other wild animals.
Pupil: I think we must plant trees and make it homes for birds and small animals.
Pupil: We are told to leave wild flowers for others to enjoy. It is important. It help to protect wildlife.
Pupil: We must don’t throw away things which you can reuse.
Teacher: There are a lot of environmental groups. What are these group’s concerns?
Who do know?
Pupil: I know these groups. There are: Greenpease, Friends of the Earth and others.
Pupil: They taking care of the Earth.
Pupil: They are protecting wildlife, plants and trees.
Teacher: Well. Before it is too late, people have to change their way of life. We have to stop ruining the land, sea and air. We can help clean up the planet!
Следующий этап работы – привлечение внимания учащихся к проблемам, связанным с бытовыми электроприборами. На доске предлагается список бытовых электроприборов и образцы диалогов, затем школьники составляют диалоги самостоятельно.
Список бытовых электроприборов: Refrigerator, iron, cassette recorder, record player, hair dryer, desk lamp, vacuum cleaner.
Образцы диалогов:
-You’ve left lights on, dear!
-Who cares?
-I do!
-It’s wasting energy! At school.
-I’m taught it’s expensive.
-Oh, I’m sorry! I’ll never do it again.
— I hope so.
— Dad, you’ve left the iron on.
— So what?
— My teacher tells me to save energy.
-Oh, my son, live and learn!
