Внеклассное мероприятие «MOTHER’S DAY»

Цель:

Активизация лексики и грамматики пройденных уроков.

Развитие у детей познавательной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка.

Развитие коммуникативных навыков.

Задачи:

Способствовать сплочению коллектива через включение всех учащихся в совместную деятельность, совершенствовать навыки работы в группе;

Развивать инициативу, самостоятельность, опыт творческой деятельности;

Воспитывать любовь, заботу, внимание и уважение к близким и родным людям, эмоционально-ценностное отношение к семье;

Активизировать пройденную лексику; знания таких частей речи как Noun,Adjective,Verb; понятие о синонимах.

Закрепить грамматический материал по изученным темам: глагол to be, the Present Simple Tense, the Past simple Tense;

Отрабатывать навыки чтения с извлечением нужной информации;

Развивать навыки монологического высказывания и письменной речи,

Форма мероприятия: классный час — урок

Оборудование: мультимедийное оборудование.

Ход мероприятия

Teacher: Dear boys and girls! On the fourth Sunday of November Russian people celebrate Mother’s Day.

Happy Mothers Day is a time of commemoration and celebration in honor of all kind and affectionate mothers of the universe. It is a time of family gatherings, and crayon scribbled «I Love You Mother».

Warming up.

Why do we love our mothers?

Students give their answers. They can use their Adjective boxes.

(словарный банк прилагательных создаётся учащимися в процессе работы над другими проектами и постоянно пополняется, прилагательные выписываются на каждую из 26 букв английского алфавита).

Vocabulary work.

Students work in groups. During the lesson they have to draw a Spidergram/or a Mind Map ‘’Our Mothers”.

A spidergram is a drawing that shows a summary of facts or ideas, with the main subject in a central circle and the most important facts on lines drawn out from it.

Drawing a simple Spidergram/Mind Map of students’ ideas helps tremendously. They can see

clearly all of their ideas and can decide which ones they want to use and which they wanted

to get rid of. They can then transfer their chosen ideas to the writing frame to give structure to

their story. Using the spidergram/mind map and writing frame allows them to visually see their

ideas without trying to remember them in their heads.

Activity 1. “What children tell about their mothers.” Group work.

Possible answers:

-Give her a card.

-Buy her some gifts-may be flowers, chocolates or something she will appreciate.

-Tell her how much she means to you.

-Create a greeting card.

Students make holiday postcards. (приложение 4).

На уроке уч-ся работают только над созданием текста, открытки же покупают или делают дома заранее.
