Lesson plan

Aim: to provide practice in making up

dialogues and speaking on the topic

Peer pressure”.

Objective: by the end of the lesson the

students will be better able to

make up dialogues and speak

about peer pressure, using

technique of critical thinking



Equipment: video from the Internet,

presentation, cards, tape,

screen, schemes







  1. Организационный момент

(звучит музыка из диска)

T: — Dear friends, I want to introduce you my colleagues. They are very intelligent, friendly and kind. I hope you will like them.



  1. Основная часть урока

(slide with the aim and objective)

The teacher declares the aim and objective of the lesson

T: — Friends, look at the screen. You will work individually. You should describe the picture. What is happening? How does the person feel? Why?

T: — Friends, you will work in pairs. Look at the screen and watch the video. Then answer the question. What is peer pressure? Use the method “Mind-map” or “Cluster method”
