Открытый урок по английскому языку на тему «Выбор профессии». 11-й класс

Разделы: Преподавание иностранных языков

Тип урока: повторение и закрепление полученных знаний с использованием информационных технологий.

Оснащение урока: УМК, доска, мультимедийное оборудование, диск, карточки (ИРМ).

Тип упражнений: упражнения с заданным механизмом выполнения, творческие задания.

Цель урока: развивать навыки монологической речи по теме “Выбор профессии”; совершенствовать лексические навыки и расширить лексический запас учащихся.

Задачи урока:

Образовательные: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме “Выбор профессии” в устной и письменной речи; развивать навыки аудирования, умение общаться на английском языке.

Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся; формировать умение выделять главное, сравнивать и анализировать.

Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления; содействовать профориентации учащихся.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент. Сообщение целей и задач урока

Teacher: Boys an girls , today we have an unusual lesson because some quests visit us. I wish you to be brave and active during our lesson and to show all knowledge according to our topic.Today we’re going to talk about the world of professions (Приложение 1. Slide 1) The plan of our lesson is

To remind the words by the topic “Professions” and do lexical exercise to consolidate them.

To find out the difference between the words “job”, “profession” and “Occupation”

To remind the words and phrases connected with “job” and “profession”

To practice intonation in short conversations.

To discuss important qualities for a successful career and tell about different kinds of jobs. (Slide 2)

– Let’s remind characteristics of professions (Slide 8,9)
– To consolidate these words do ex 1 p 24 in your exercise-books.

V. Reading

– The next task is reading. Let’s read the dialogue “Choosing a career” on your sheets of paper

– Do you agree that choosing a profession is very important for you?
– Tell, please, what factors do influence the decision of young people in choosing a profession?
– What’s important to you-earning lots of money or having a job you enjoy?
– How do you think what professions are the most prestigious nowadays?
– Tell, please, about material aspect of the future profession.

– Let’s find out the difference between the words “job” “Profession” and “Occupation”

– At home you did ex 18 p 50. Let’s check your answers by listening to the recording. Act out the dialogues, please.

X. Speaking

– Last lesson we named different personal and professional qualities. Let’s remind pronunciation of them.

– What qualities are more important for a successful career? (vocabulary and p 48 ex 9 will help you)

– Do you think the qualities depend on the nature of the profession?

– Work in pairs and choose 3 most important personal qualities and 3 most important professional qualities or skills for such kinds of jobs as:
