Урок английского языка в 6 классе

Тема: Shopping (Покупки)

Цели:

1.Обучение диалогической речи на основе тематической лексики; формирование лингвострановедческой компетенции;

2. Совершенствование этических норм общения и развитие эстетического восприятия действительности;

3. Развитие коммуникативных навыков.

Оборудование: Элементы костюма Мэри Поппинс (саквояж, зонтик и т.п.), «деньги», карточки для фон. разминки, карточки для групповой работы со списком покупок и названиями магазинов, магнитофон, запись песенки «Hippety Hop», запись диалога в магазине.

План урока:

1. Орг.момент.

2. Фон.зарядка.

3. Введение страноведческого материала.

4. Реч.зарядка.

5. Физ.минутка.

6. Активизация лексического материала. (Песня)

7. Работа в группах.

8. Развитие навыков диалогической речи.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие.

Good morning, good morning to you

Good morning, dear children!

I am very glad to see you!

Sit down, please. What date is it today? Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

Today we are going to do the shopping together and I am going to teach you how to do it in the best way. Do you like to go shopping? (Yes, we do). Well, if you work and answer well you will get some pocket money so that you can come to our shop and buy something. But first, let’s see if you can speak English.

II. Фонетическая разминка.

1. Работа со стихотворением (на доске):

Rat-a-tat-tat!

Who is that?

Only Grandma’s Pussy Cat.

What do you want?

A bottle of milk.

Where is your money?

In my pocket.

Where is your pocket?

I forgot it.

Oh, you silly Pussy Cat!

Read it as a dialogue. (Дети читают)

Put in the rhyme any food you’d like to buy and act it out.

2. Введение страноведческого материала.

What without can’t we go shopping? Yes, you are right. Let’s see on the blackboard.

В Великобритании денежными единицами являются фунты и пенсы.

3. Речевая разминка.

Knock-knock. May I come in? I am a nurse and my name is Mary Poppins. Good morning, dear children! I have some exercise for you. You should name all food from my bag.

• What is it?

• What would you like to buy?

Very well, thank you! Good bye!

4. Физ.минутка.

It’s time for physical activity. Stand up!

Thank you! Sit down!

5. Активизация лексического материала.

My friend Hippety likes to go shopping very much. He does it every day. Now let’s sing this song together. Thank you! Your singing is great!

6. Работа в группах.

What kinds of shops do you know? (the baker’s, the butcher’s, the grocer’s….)

I have a very long shopping list from Mary Poppins. Where can she buy it all? And there is one product she can’t buy at the grocer’s, at the greengrocer’s, at the butcher’s or at the dairy. Find it!

(Список покупок: coffee, grapes, milk, yoghurt, oranges, beef, butter, chicken, flour, turkey, carrots, apples, cheese, fish, sugar)

Дети делятся на 3 группы и распределяют покупки, затем каждая группа зачитывает свой список.

7. Развитие навыков диалогической речи.

Let’s play! Imagine that we are in the shops. Divide into 3 groups. Grocer’s shop, baker’s and corner shop. You should do the dialogues and act them. Is it clear?

Let’s begin! You can use the cards and products from Mary Poppins.

1. Corner shop.

• Hello!

• Hello, can I help you?

• Yes, please. I’d like to buy two bars of chocolate and a big box of sweets.

• What else?

• Have you got some nuts? I want a packet of nuts, please.

• Here you are.

• What does it cost?

• Two pounds fifty.

• Thank you.

• Thank you for your custom.

• Good bye!

• Bye!

2) Baker’s shop.

-Hello!

— Hello! I’d like some bread, please.

— How much do you want?

— One loaf of bread.

— Here you are.

— What does it cost?

— Forty pence.

— Thanks a lot!

— Thank you for your custom!

— Good bye!

— Good bye!

3) Grocer’s shop.

— Hello!

— Hi! Can I have a packet of tea, please?

— Yes, of course. Here you are.

— How much is it?

— One pound sixty. What else?

— A jar of coffee, please.

— Here you are.

— How much are they?

— Four pound fifty.

— Thank you.

— Thank you for your custom.

— Good bye!

— Good bye!
